Chamber Dinner
On Tuesday, April
26th at 6:30 PM at the Rose Hill High School Commons the Rose
Hill Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner too place. Fifty people
were in attendance for the dinner. Our own Chamber member Louis’
Café catered the event. The menu included roast pork loin, sweet
potato mash, green beans, salad with a homemade vinaigrette and
for dessert there was your choice of coconut crème cake or red
velvet cake. Once the food was served our Chamber President Jim
Woydziak, Rose Hill Fire Chief, introduced our special guest
speaker Carrie Rengers. Carrie is the columnist for the “Have
You Heard” business column in the Wichita Eagle Newspaper. She
gave the crowd insight on how she began writing for the Wichita
Eagle and how she goes about writing her column. At the end of
the night there were raffle prizes given away. We would like to
thank the local businesses Massage Works, Rose Hill Recreation,
Rose Hill Bank & the Rose Hill Public Library for their donation
to the Chamber raffle drawing. And thank you to all who helped
with our event as well as those who attendee. We appreciate all
our members!" |
